Like cockroaches!

One of the most oppressive and despised decks of the last Standard format was Valakut. The green ramp deck with the Valakut finish set up rules on how decks most operate to be competitive for the longest time. While Primeval Titan got reprinted in M12, Valakut and most of the staple ramp stuff rotated out when Zendikar left the format earlier this month. Therefore people was joyous about that engine being history so we could start of the next Standard format with a clean page.

But seemingly old habits are hard to quit.

Maybe it doesn’t have Valakut the card in it but the deck operates very much on the same terms as the former behemoth. Same shit, different name.
